– Sold OutA very solid choice for a functional landing net. The deeply dyed tiger maple and deep epoxy finish, produces an elegant working net. This net measures 23.5 inches overall with an 11 inch handle and a 12 x 10 inch Eastern style hoop. The handle has a surface of deeply dyed birds eye maple over a center core of black walnut. It is part of my exploration of making a stronger landing nets. To the handle I have added an brass inlay of a brown trout. I first draw the image then it is incised into the wood using chisels and small knives with brass wire hammered into these delicately cut lines.
This style can be custom ordered with a slightly larger frame fitting a ghost style bag at similar pricing. Hand made in the USA. The net has a deep epoxy finish. All of my fly fishing nets are signed and numbered. All nets have a custom in shop made, brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
