This Tenkara style net has a 12.5 inch handle of curly Maple and a 10 x 9 inch circular hoop of curly Maple. (about 32 inch circumference). There is a small accent segment of walnut in the handle and an accent strip of mahogany in the hoop.
Sometimes I am asked why I keep building landing nets, it is hard to explain the joy I find in exploring the appearance of each piece of wood I find. There is a picture of three nets of figured maple, how different they look. That is why I keep making them. (Nuts-o) This style can be custom ordered in a variety of woods. The net has a deep epoxy finish. All of my fly fishing nets are signed and numbered. The net has a soft catch and release net bag. The handle features a shop made brass eye.
