Back in the work shop, chasing steel in the river.

When I started making landing nets, I looked hard to find a brass eye that conveyed my pride in my work. Now, after spending $1,500 dollars on a lathe, ruining various lathe tools and scaring the heck out of myself several times, I can make these brass eyes without detaching any appendages. I personally make these brass eyes.
Each brass eye is machined from 7/16 inch solid brass rod, turned to rough shape before drilling, grinding and polishing by hand. The threading on the brass eye is 1/4-20 or 1/4-28. The threading is to help adhesion of epoxy to the brass when inserting in a net handle. Pricing is per/brass eye.
