This an elegant and functional traditionally sized landing net made with Texas ebony and show casing the striking color. The net is 21 inches overall with an 8.5 inch handle and a 12.5 x 10 inch hoop.
This net was made from my limited stock of Texas ebony from a small saw mill in Texas. This wood is urban harvest, salvaged from logs that were to be burned after a storm or land clearing. I select the wood to offer contrast between the heart wood and sap wood. The handle is made to play with the same contrast.
My nets are all signed and numbered. All nets have a custom shop made brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt. They feature a multi-coat epoxy finish to enhance and protect. This net features a soft nylon catch and release bag.
