A piece of Box elder with honey tones and streaks of red wasn't wide enough to make a larger handle, but worked perfectly for a smaller custom brook trout landing net. This started my journey making these smaller nets for use when "Blue line fishing."
Overall length of 18 inches, 10 x 7 inch hoop (24 inches in circumference), with an 8 inch handle, the perfect size to carry through the brush.
This style can also be custom ordered in a variety of woods or slightly larger frame. Ghost style net bags are not available for these small nets. Hand made in the USA. The net has a unique deep epoxy finish. All of my fly fishing nets are signed and numbered. All nets have a custom, in shop made, brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
