I wanted to explore the color and grain of a cherry board in my shop. The curly cherry board was almost iridescent when wet down with water. I wanted to explore that quality. It also had the unique checkering that I see in an occasional cherry board. The board seemed right for a small elegant landing net. I can just see a brook trout in it.
This landing net measures 19 inches in length with a 8 inch contoured handle and a 10.5 x 5 inch hoop. The soft nylon net bag is in an emerald green that compliments the color of the cherry. A very handsome net.
Each net is signed and numbered. All nets are finished with a unique epoxy finish. All nets have a custom shop made brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
