This an excellent landing net to handle larger trout and smaller steelhead. This fly fishing net is about 28 inches long with a 13 inch handle and a 15 x 12 inch steel-header hoop. The net as shown is made of American Black Walnut with a handle inset of Catalpa. The net handle is finished with a larger deer antler fork. The hoop circumference is about 42 inches.
This net has a rubber style net bag, which is attached using the Tenkara method to avoid drilling the hoop. This produces a stronger hoop that is more water resistant because the hoop is not drilled for net bag attachment. You may note the brass eye added to the yoke of the net so the handle again is protect from water.
All nets are signed and numbered. All nets have a custom shop made brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt. They have a unique epoxy finish.
