A traditionally sized landing net for trout fishing. Shown in a great combination of woods, the dark walnut contrasting with the birds eye maple. The birds eye maple comes from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I like to find boards where a circle the size of a quarter has at least 10 "eyes". I am always looking for those occasional boards. This landing net is a very functional size for trout fishing, the 9 inch handle and a 13 x 9 inch hoop. It gives the net a very balanced look. Hand made in the USA. The net has a deep epoxy finish to protect and enhance the wood. All of my fly fishing nets are signed and numbered. It has a custom in shop made brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
Nets of similar style may be ordered in various woods. This net may also be ordered in a larger size with a rubber net bag.
