This is a unique landing net is about 20 inches overall, with a hoop about 10 x 10 inches in size. The slightly smaller hoop for Tenkara style fishing or for streams where a trophy is a 14 inch fish. This net uses a section of an Elk antler tine joined to the walnut and boxelder hoop.
I thought I had done something truly unique when I added a piece of antler to a landing net handle, then I saw a very traditional Tenkara net using an antler tip as a handle cap. Later, I learned that the stag horn was meant to bring good luck to the hunter or fisherman.
With the epoxy finish this net can be used and displayed. This style can be custom ordered in a variety of woods or slightly larger frame. Ghost style net bags are not available for these small nets. Hand made in the USA. All of my fly fishing nets are signed and numbered. All nets have a custom, in shop made, brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
